Description
Online probe for the determination of organic load, COD, BOD, SAC254. The sensor is based on the UV photometric absorbance measurement at 254 nm of active species dissolved or suspended in water. The external probe is installed in a sample reservoir and measurements are taken on the circulating sample flow, guaranteeing a short response time. The measurement of the sensor can be correlated with various analytical parameters such as COD, TOC, BOD, SAC254. Applications includes industrial and municipal wastewater processing, environmental monitoring, potable water.
Method
The principle of measurement is based on the determination of the absorbance of organic species dissolved in water. The low range version of the probe is indicated for organic loads with a COD(KHPeq) between 0 and 370 mg/l.
